During our recent move we discovered many "lost" treasures. Some items had been demos or scratch & dents, other items were returned by a customer and we couldn't re-sell it as "New", and yet others were just Old "New" items that had never been sold - opened or used.

MP3 Players as a Teaching Tool

Many schools are utilizing MP3 Players in their classrooms. Kindergartners use them to practice their vocabulary words at home… they’re a great tool for students learning a second language. Some schools allow the kids to write and record their own podcasts .

The Califone 2985PG is a rugged monaural headphone which can be used with personal playback devices (CD and MP3 players) and in group listening centers, and in ELL, ELD and other language learning activities.

The Califone 1285G is a 10 position monaural jackbox, which allows educators to monitor the volume level of up to ten attached headphones and to set the sound level to under the ASHA-recommended 85 decibel level.

LG HDTV Tuners Gone

LG Electronics has discontinued the LST3510A, LST3410A & LST4200A HDTV Set-top boxes. We are sold out of these models as well.
The reason we've been told that no replacements are being made: In 2006 all of LG's HD monitors will have a built-in tuner.
That's great, but what about all the people who have a 1 or 2 year old monitor and their 5 year old set top box dies?

When we first saw this product we didn't think there would be much demand. Most home theater enthusiasts most likely have their sound system and speaker system. The screen and projector are usually the last components added.

LG Electronics LST-4200A Discontinued?

Rumor has it that LG has discontinued the LST4200A. While this appears to be true, we've not received any official word from LG yet. We have asked if another model will be released soon and have been told no. Beginning in 2006 LG intends to include a tuner in all their plasma, LCD and CRT sets.
